Grey & Grey attorney Maribel Gomez was sworn in as President of The Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (LIHBA) on September 26, 2024, at the organization’s Annual Scholarship Gala. Maribel delivered the President’s Address, an inspirational speech highlighting the importance of education in overcoming adversity and outlining her vision for the organization under her leadership. The program also featured the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award, Community Service Award, Judicial Excellence Award, law student scholarships, the installation of officers and directors, and a Keynote Address by the Hon. Joseph A. Zayas, the Chief Administrative Judge of the New York State Unified Court System.
