FEWER THAN 10% OF ELIGIBLE WORKERS FILED FOR COVID-19 WORKERS’ COMPENSATION CLAIMS

In a recent report by our managing partner, Robert Grey and the New York Committee for Occupation Safety and Health (NYCOSH) estimates that nearly 250,000 essential workers in NY developed symptoms after being infected with COVID-19 at work in 2020 but that fewer than 10% of such workers have filed a claim for COVID-19.
