On January 23 the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial held its 20th reception and scholarship fundraiser. The Memorial provides scholarships, which were awarded once again this year to the children of workers who were permanently injured or killed at work. Honorees this year for their dedication to labor were the Honorable Harry Bronson, Chair of the New York State Assembly Labor Committee, Milly Silva, Secretary-Treasurer, SEIU1199 and Dr. Howard Rombom of Behaviorial Medicine Associates.
