Sanjai Doobay
Sanjai Doobay graduated magna cum laude from New York University in 2004 with a B.S. in Psychology with minors in Anthropology and Philosophy.
In 2013, he graduated cum laude from the Cardozo School of Law. While there, he participated in various field clinic including the housing justice clinic.
Prior to law school, Sanjai worked at a large corporate law firm. While in law school, he worked at MLB and at the Brooklyn DA’s office.
Currently, Sanjai is a partner at Grey & Grey LLP. For over ten years, he has appeared at thousands of Workers’ Compensation hearings, litigated various matters at the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals and published various articles including an Op-Ed in the NY Post. His passion is the hundreds of injured workers he has represented.
Sanjai is a member of various bar associations and is the current treasurer of the Injured Workers Bar Association.
In his free time, Sanjai participates in various local community programs primarily focused on youth empowerment, justice and equality. Born to West Indian immigrants who strived for the best, Sanjai understands the value of hard work, loyalty, kindness and family. He is proud father and husband.
